Easy, simple, efficient

This is a great reference for learning signs with a toddler. Most of the images are very clear and easy to interpret the signs from, there has only been a few I had to look up online. Im giving this 4 stars, because I feel there are a few words that seem fairly common that are not included. There are a few free apps that let you look up signs, but if you are like me and find it easier and quicker to grab a book, then I recommend this dictionary.
This book is easy to navigate and so far has all of the signs I had been looking to teach my daughter. Much more than just the basic stuff! If you are not familiar with signing, some of the pictures can be confusing. I think basic knowledge of signs is helpful. I do wish there was a little written explanation of each sign, rather than just the pictures. Overall I am happy with this purchase.
This was a gift for my new grand daughter, however...
I hope for the whole family to use it as well as use it on our dog.

This chart is not only great for beginning with a baby, it works well for aging adults. Every person will face some loss of hearing as they age; so, we should be urging people to learn to sign. If parents started their children with signing, if public schools required it, and if we used it as we age, the world would have a universal language and more people could communicate into their later years.
